Organic line of frozen soups offer more natural options
Created to appeal to today’s soup-lovers, Benje’s Naturals can be found in frozen food aisles in Northeast retailers this month, with a national roll-out planned for 2016.
Single-serve Benje’s Naturals are organic, gluten-free frozen soups that offer convenience as well as healthy, planet-friendly ingredients to consumers interested in prepared foods with ‘cleaner,’ more natural ingredients.
Almost half of all meals are eaten alone, and Benje’s Naturals’ single-serve bowl will appeal to these solo diners. Offering nutrition and convenience in one ready-to-serve, BPA-free microwaveable bowl, Benje’s Naturals are ready in 4 minutes. Each kosher variety is dairy-free, non-GMO, and high in fiber, with some varieties offering as little as 45 calories per serving.
Frozen Benje’s Naturals are significantly lower in sodium compared to canned soups and frozen meals, and retain more of their nutritional value as a function of freezing than canned soup.
Benje’s Naturals come in seven varieties: Tuscany Lentil, Split Pea, Vegetarian Chili, Black Bean, Tomato Basil, Mushroom, and Vegetable.
The line will be found in the organic/natural sections of major food retailers in the coming months, beginning with a roll-out in the Northeast and expanding to the rest of the nation during 2016.
